What the heck?

I-95 south shut down

Dear adam

(Bridgeport-AP, Oct. 4, 2004 7:35 AM) _ A tractor-trailer fire in
Bridgeport has shut down Interstate 95 southbound.

The truck fire is at Exit 27-a southbound. Fire apparatus is at the scene
and the situation is affecting one lane of northbound travel.

Yeah, I know that this happened 3 days ago, but I can't be the only one who finds it odd that I-95 in Bridgeport is sucking so much of late. The construction is proceeding quite nicely - I drive through there about once a month - but it's the lane change-overs and the fact that no-one slows down through all of this that is quite likely causing all these accidents. At least that's my thinking.
