So…. The big news of today is that I got laid off again. FROM THE SAME F*CKING COMPANY that laid be off on 10/5/01. They apparently made their decision on Wednesday, but decided to wait until today to tell me – thus ruining my entire weekend, and bringing me down from the very nice 4th that I had. They could have told me then – I could at least have tried to have a good weekend (and had a few more beers at the party). But noooooooooooo.
And no, I still won’t tell you where I work. I used to not name them ’cause I didn’t want to be found during web searches of them (it actually happened, and the CEO was the one doing the searching!). Now it’s out of shame and disgust. Mostly disgust.
